1) Universal fact! Sales guys try to jump to transactions before they engage. Numbers. Numbers!!. Result? Loss of opportunities. Shrink in deal size. Forced sharing of opportunity with competition. 2) Internal collaboration is must before a good proposal is shared with the customer.
