I’d propose this defnition of a dialogue.
Voicing — explaining, sharing, your thoughts.
Listening — hearing what others have to say on the topic.
Reflecting — thinking through others point of view
Challenging — Discussion the ideas and pros and cons
What do you think of as a dialogue? What did I miss?
i like your post. Short and crisp.I think, we can add Absorbing before Reflecting in the dialogue.
Unless we absorb other point of views, we would not do a better job at Reflecting.

I think it’s early days for this stuff. I haven’t been all that isreesmpd with Foursquare, despite its numbers and user growth. I think checkins have limited appeal, and they haven’t done enough to give folks like me real value behind the badges. Groupon, on the other hand, is a monster. The best we can do is partner and cross our fingers.
